The services must be delivered in a way that protects Watercare’s operational assets, public users and the surrounding environment, while maintaining clear reporting, service quality and accountability. Watercare anticipates appointing one supplier for the Māngere Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) area and up to two suppliers for the Māngere Foreshore areas. Watercare may award one or more areas to the same supplier, or separate suppliers, depending on the evaluation outcome and the best overall value for Watercare.
