The specific works under this RFT are (in brief): • Widening and grading of the sealed runway (RWY)11/29 Strip, out to 75 metres either side of the RWY centreline. This includes extending and grading around the culvert at the RWY11 end, regrading the terrace / embankment along the terminal side of the RWY, and associated works. • Upgrading the grass RWY11/29 surface to grade out irregularities to CAA Part 139 compliance. • Construction of a sealed, parallel taxiway (TWY) from TWY A2, southeast to the RWY29 end. • Construction of a sealed aircraft engine run-up pad for Code A aircraft. • Associated works, per the attached specifications and drawings.
