What we need Canterbury CDEM is seeking a shared, understood, and practiced logistics framework for Canterbury that enables rapid, coordinated movement of people and resources, even in degraded transport and supply chain conditions. This will: • Clearly articulate how people, goods, and services move across Canterbury under a range of hazard and impact scenarios • Support logistics planning for small, medium, and large-scale events, including concurrent and cascading events • Establish clear coordination mechanisms, roles, and responsibilities across Group Office, TAs, partners, and industry • Improve regional readiness to sustain, surge, and recover logistics capacity during prolonged events • Enable TA-level planning and operationalisation through practical templates and tools
